Professional assessments by our primary care nurse practitioners

At Citadelle Santé, all assessments performed as part of medical consultations are carried out by specialized nurse practitioners (NPs), recognized for their expertise and their focus on your needs. These qualified professionals adhere to the guidelines established by the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ).

Minor emergency

1 consultation reason $195 + analysis fee if necessary

The minor emergency appointment is for a person with a condition or symptoms that are not considered a life-threatening emergency, but which require prompt medical attention:

  • Otitis, sore throat, pharyngitis, cough, cold, nasal congestion, fever, sinusitis, eczema, recent skin rashes, constipation, seasonal allergies, shingles, herpes, gout, urinary tract infection in women aged 14 and over, renewal of 1 medication not requiring follow-up, etc.

If your condition is not on this list, you may have a complex problem/emergency that requires extended medical consultation.

Prolonged medical consultation

2 reasons for minor consultation or complex situation $295 + analysis fees if necessary
* includes telephone follow-up of analysis results

The extended consultation appointment is intended for a person with a condition requiring further assessment or with two reasons for consultation for a minor emergency:

  • Uncontrolled chronic diseases: asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, etc.
  • Visual disturbance (sudden loss of vision, foreign body sensation), abdominal pain, blood in stools, unexplained fever (without other symptoms), urinary symptoms in men, insomnia, fatigue, cognitive disorders, loss of appetite, unexplained weight loss, urinary incontinence, recurrent health problems, erectile dysfunction, musculoskeletal pain – back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, chronic cough, lumpy breast, abnormal vaginal discomfort, heartburn (reflux), etc.
  • This consultation also allows us to renew medications (1 to 2 medications, depending on the follow-up required).

The health check-up consists of a complete evaluation of your general condition. It enables our professionals to gain a better understanding of your medical history, so they can recommend screening tests tailored to your age, gender and background. It’s also an opportunity to discuss any health-related concerns you may have.

  • This appointment includes a detailed analysis of your health needs and the prescription of appropriate tests and medication.

SAAQ Forms for Driver’s Licence

From $60 + consultation fee (contact us)

To ensure the safety of all road users, the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec requires health checks for certain drivers. If your state of health requires it, or if you hold a class 1, 2, 3 or 4B license, don’t hesitate to make an appointment with us.

Acne Treatment with Accutane

Acne, also known as acne vulgaris, is an inflammation of the hair follicles caused by a blockage of dead skin cells and sebum. Depending on the nature of this blockage, several forms of acne may appear. Various treatments are available, with effectiveness varying from one method to another.

Accutane is generally prescribed for severe forms of acne, particularly nodular or inflammatory acne. After a comprehensive evaluation, we will develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Cortisone infiltration and viscosupplementation

From $195 + injection fee

Cortisone or viscosupplement infiltrations can be performed in a variety of joints. Prior to any procedure, a complete evaluation of your musculoskeletal condition is necessary. Each infiltration may provide varying degrees of relief, and several risk factors must be taken into account during the consultation, including the type of injury, its duration and the amount of product injected.

Weight Management

Obesity significantly increases the risk of developing certain chronic diseases, including diabetes, hypertension, and various musculoskeletal pains. With healthy lifestyle habits and appropriate medical guidance, achieving sustainable and healthy weight management is entirely possible.
